Description

Season Four of Gotham will witness the emergence of the criminal landscape for which Gotham City is best known, with GCPD Detectives Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) at the forefront of the fight against the most depraved and unhinged villains.     It's crazy to think that I hated this show throughout all of season 1. Season 2 was somewhat better, but by Season 3 it had built a world and canon of it's own that was much improved over what I was expecting as I watched Season 1. The show still isn't for everyone. Just don't go in expecting the characters of the comics and you're proper expectations should be set to enjoy it.

    The first three season are quite good. The exposition and character development are interesting and given time to grow. In Season 4 something seems to have changed. Maybe the idea is to move the story line along faster: I don't know. My impression is that Season 4 writing has taken the best of the first three seasons and distilled them into a pattern formula of tropes and cliches. Just my two cents. I am anxious to see "Batman" as anyone, but this show has become too predictable and deja vu for my tastes.

    This is an excellent show. Great plot and characters! It keeps getting better and better. Hope to see Bruce become the "Dark Knight of Gotham"!!!!!!

    In my opinion, this is a genuine tv show!! Every single episode has the best of the best, acting, visuals, music, story, everything!! One of my absolute favorites.

    Every season was amazing. Each New season topped the other and S4 looks like the best season yet because Scarecrow's back, Bruce grows closer to becoming Batman, Riddler and Penguin are the best, etc. I love Gotham and I can't wait for S4.
