The Bold Type, Season 1

Best show ever ..........NOT

I was a bit skeptical when I heard about this show, having been unenthused by Freeform’s shows in the past (Shadowhunters was a major disappointment and veered heavily away from the book, and both Siren and Famous in Love seemed boring to me). However, I absolutely love the Bold Type! It’s smart, sassy, witty, and bold ;). The show follows the lives of three women who all work at a women’s magazine called Scarlet. The show tackles real and important issues, with occasional light humor and the chemistry these three besties have on the show is incredible and touching to watch. The show does not shy away from talking about things like racism, deportation, one night stands, rape, and more! It is amazing and wonderful to see these problems being addressed in main stream media, especially in such a fun way! The Bold Type is paving the way for Feminism and equality among all people, and is definitely a show that will be remembered for centuries! Cannot wait for season two!

I see so many people ratting this show so low without even whatching it, this shows is the sex and the city for the millennial so you’ll love it And the fashion is to die for

This show is amazing. It has extremely realistic female characters AND male characters who make mistakes and own up to them. It has drama that doesn't revolve around girls going at each other. It adresses important issues like breast cancer, immigration, islamaphobia, rape, and countless other things. Only 10 episodes, but still a great system. FREEFORMM, PLEASE RENEW THIS SHOW FOR SEASON 2

Really really surprised by this one. Possibly one of the most enjoyable shows to come out this summer.

These women support each other unconditionally.

It is a light summer show to put a smile on your face, maybe a few tears. Kat, Sutton and Jane friendship really touched my heart.

I love this show so much! Nobody recommended this to me. My Spirit Guides led me to it and asked me to watch. I fell in love during the pilot. I am a writer so this show got my attention immediately. I love how they handle the controversial topics. And that they actually do bring them to our attention. I'm bummed that there is not another new episode for me to watch today. I didn't realize that last week was the season 1 finale. :( I will definitely be tuning in for season 2 of "The Bold Type". :)

Amazingly realistic take on female friendships and incredibly optimistic show that inspires episode after episode. Laughter AND tears? Absolutely, no exaggeration. You won't regret giving these character a chance. This show is so important! 5 stars.
