The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Seasons 1 & 2

Please release the subtitled version!

I know this show gets a lot of hate because of the endless 8 time loop arc in season 2, but honestly, I kinda enjoyed it. Since I first watched it last year, The Melancholy off Haruhi Suzumiya has been a huge part of my life, and I think everyone should experience it. The characters are so lovable, you will want to adopt them as your own, and the craziness of the plot makes this anime super memorable and awesome. The audio is only available in the dub, but this show is one of the only few animes where I actually prefer the dub over the sub. Don’t get me wrong the sub is GREAT (love you, Aya Hirano) but the dub just.... I don’t really know how to explain it. I guess it’s more quotable and memorable in the dubbed version. However I do wish the songs were in the original Japanese version because they really were much better subbed. (Or substitute the official dub with AmaLee’s cover of the song. That would be great.) The art is eye catching and beautiful, one of the most special parts of the show. It’s obvious that the artists took a ton of time and effort to make this anime flow beautifully and add to eye appeal. It is super special, and has the unique Kyoto Animation touch. Plus, everyone’s just so cute! This show has amazing music. Both the opening and ending songs are amazing, along with the insert songs. By the time you finish this series, you will be trying to learn the Hare Hare Yukai dance (first ending.) I hope this review was helpful, and you didn’t stop reading halfway through because it was long. Again, this show is SUPER AMAZING, and you should definitely watch it over and over. It will not be a waste of your time. This is my favorite anime EVER, and the whole world should see how great it is. Plus, after you finish this, the series continues in the amazing light novel series. Hope you love this show as much as I do!!!

I kept seeing fan art around for this show and thought I'd check it out... and in all honesty, it ended up being far more annoying than I thought it would be. About half of the second season segment is dedicated solely to playing the same scenes of an episode 8 bloody times in a row with the only differences being very minor in some of the dialog, locations, and outfits of the characters during these repeated strings of the same episode over and over again.

this is a complete dub, for those who like that, the english is not that bad, but in was hoping to hear the original audio songs, the english dub voice acting is pretty good overall, just annoyed by the fact that the songs were dubbed.
