Madam Secretary, Season 3

This show is beyond perfect. It is the BEST (as in #1) of all shows I have ever watched , in my 67 yr lifetime. This is the 1st review I have ever written but GLORY BE-- don't mess this up as you hAve others.. i.e. THE NEWS ROOM, and the Good Wife. This show has excitement , Love, joy, realism of todays' world events, and is true to american family interactions. Not pretending to be a father knows best recast. I love how their children can make mistakes and still be loved, while they can also make some very profound insights inspiring realism to the very root of world events and human tragedies If you pay attention , this could run as long as the NCIS series. AND TRUST ME - the AUDIENCES WILL SUPPORT THE EFFORT OF ALL WHO PARTICIPATE IN THE MAKING OF THIS MASTERPIECE !!! Brenda A.

The West Wing for these times

Wonderful, well-acted, idealistic show. It used to just be a drama about our foreign policy. Who knew that it would end up being an escapist fantasy, where foreign-policy experts and the president act in America's best interests, from a place of morals, ethics, and American values? At this point, it's in the same category as those Lifetime holiday movies, where people go through the dryer and live in alternate version of their life, or are living in a snow globe, with a perfect little town covered in glistening snow.

It's so real and the dynamics are exciting.

I stopped watching this when week after week there were no episodes, and there is never any information on itunes about why or when it will return. it broke the continuity--which is important for any show, but especially one with a degree of suspense.

EXCELLENT writing, characters, storylines, "acting" and perfect amount of realness.

Not quite what you would expect from this series, but it's a great thing to "not be too predictable." However, this season's "unpredictably" has left me scratching my head wondering "what just happened here?" Not the intrigue of Season 1-2, where it's painful to wait between episodes; I almost forget what the previous episode is about and why I loved it. It's like the writers wanted to take it somewhere they couldn't go. So now they're twisting and turning it back on course? Anyway, I will keep my rating fluid, and adjust up.. or down depending where it goes. 4 stars for now.

Every season of Madam Secretary is fantastic. Smart dialogue, great storylines.
