This film (although made for TV) has top notch performances led by Sigourney Weaver. A young man struggles to cope with his sexuality while his family's religion adds more to the dilemma. His mother (Weaver), then tries to "resolve" his homosexuality to accommodate the home's religious culture, which takes matters in an unpleasant direction.

This is one of the most emotional movies that I've watched. I've been through a rough time and this movie opens up the wounds back again. So touching and very inspiring !
