Hugh Laurie gives a tour de force performance; Hiddleston is good not great, but the character development, gorgeous settings, and edge-of-your-seat plot make this a must see. The creators updated the Le Carre spy thriller to make it relevant to today’s geopolitical environment. It’s similar to a Bond flick, but 100 times better.

I would love to like the show, but the constantly moving camera distracts me too much.

Mini series was well casted and the storyline was shockingly believable. Long about episode 5?, the surprise visit to the mercenary camp made me think long and hard about "war". The arms business has blurred the lines so that it's not so much a surprising possibility but a horrifying reality. Each episode left me thinking a lot about a lot.

One of my favorite authors, in a series beautifully done.
