At first glance this film may strike you as just another desperate attempt at being funny while in reality just being raunchy and not entertaining unless you're a 13 year old. I was very caught off guard with how entertaining this movie actually was.

Insult to comedy! The movie was shallow, filled with middle school humor, debased women and insulted my intelligence.

What can I say. Lovable cast, laughs throughout, and a great story. Haley Joel Osment killed it as the lead, and every side character had great bits whenever they had screen time, especially Retta. Could listen to her talk all day! Definitely recommend this one.

Sex Ed is so worth the watch. I loved how it had such an ensemble cast of comedians from Matt Walsh as the eccentric superintendent to Retta as Haley Joel Osment’s landlord and bartender. Director Isaac Feder used the perfect amount of raunchy and romance to make this comedy the smart, well-rounded film that it is.

I really enjoyed this movie; it was funny (the jokes were on-point), well-cast, and I loved the music throughout. I thought Haley Joel Osment in particular did a great job; after such a long hiatus since he did "The Sixth Sense", I loved seeing him in a comedy. Overall, the plot was interesting and unique, the characters were engaging, and I thought it was pretty cool how they were still able to stress the importance of sex ed as a class for young people, despite the fact that it was a comedy.
  • Funny with a great cast

I saw this movie over the weekend and I would definitely recommend it. I was initially wary of it as a raunchy comedy with a predominantly male cast but I hoped Retta would balance that out snce she’s great in “Parks and Rec”. She definitely did; she was funny and insightful in this movie. I was even surprised by how much I liked new talent Castille Landon in the role of Ally. I expect to see her in even more roles in the future. Overall I’d say this was a funny movie that gave some quality screen time to its leading ladies.

After the stressful semester I have been having, this movie was exactly what I needed. Haley Joel Osment plays a lovable character in this lighthearted role. He and Glen Powell provide great laughs and memorable quotes throughout the film. Isaac Feder does a great job putting a spin on the already told story of the post-college-virgin, which makes Sex Ed entertaining as well as unique.

Haley Joel Osment and Retta play perfectly off each other as the awkward virgin and the wise bartender, respectively, and the movie stays fun without being offensive.

This cast is spot on and Haley Joel's comedic timing made me laugh out loud. It is good fun at a time we really needed a fun movie for a change.
