Description

A search for the legendary RV salesman whose hilarious, foul-mouthed outbursts were caught on video and became an online phenomenon. Winnebago Man is a laugh-out-loud look at viral culture and an unexpectedly poignant tale of one man's response to unintended fame.

Curious about the description of this one and so glad I rented. Proves that everyone has a story to tell and the way the documentary starts is not how it finishes. Yes it has lots of cursing but it reveals that is not all you need to know about the 'Winnebago Man'. Recommend watch.

I rented this without knowing anything about it. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in documentaries. It is both funny and sad but a good watch

Jack Rebney is an example of how we all feel, many a lesson can be learned from this professor. Watch to be enlightened.
  • The first time I really don’t like the filmmaker

What’s wrong with this director? He won’t let Jack talk, and yet he wanted to make a documentary about him. Even if you don’t want him to share his views on politics, you can edit all that in postproduction, plus letting him talk is a great way to open him up, so everyone can understand him at least a little bit better, and the director simply denies that possibility. But he surely uses his notoriety very well.

Shakespeare anticipated this 'schlockumentary' by 100's of years when he wrote, "a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing". The only revelation here is that the Winnebago Man knows the "f" word…and ALL of its relatives. The best way I can convey the emptiness of this film, is to say they've made a movie involving all the history and intricacies of toenail clipping, and are trying to convince you it's akin to open-heart surgery.
