I loved the movie but I wish the show was still here. I miss it so much and I don’t understand one thing. Weevil is back in the gang? What about his wife and kid? I’m disappointed about that.

This was a much-needed installment in the Veronica Mars saga. I missed the show so much and was so stoked when I found out the kickstarter-based movie was actually green-lit. It's quirky, awesome, and leaves the audience wanting more! Also, the soundtrack for this is great too πŸ‘πŸ».
  • Terrible film making

I have a reputation for sitting out the worst of films and watching them to the bitter terrible end. This film, however, made me cringed within the first five minutes forcing me to shut it off and write this review instead. Terrible story telling, setting the scene and terrible acting. The first scene showing Jamie Lee Curtis (nowhere to be found in the credits) playing a partner in a law firm interview the protagonist sounded like a badly scripted campaign video for some smug teenager running for public office pretending to be wise beyond her years but not quite pulling it off. You really have to retreat to the wood shed of a Swiss log cabin to find something more wooden that the acting in this film. If you have wasted your money on renting or buying this film and you're upset, chalk it up to learning more about bad film making and move on. Utterly forgettable.

This movie covered it all! It was great for the fans of the TV show and was great for people who weren't familiar with the show. My whole family watched it and enjoyed it. Veronica Mars always delivers. Can't wait for more!

I've never written a review but I thought it was needed after re watching the movies and reading the other reviews. I have watched the tv series many times and is easily said my favorite tv show as of now. I watched this movie and it was every marshmallows dream. I do agree that if you haven't watched the show in advance it might be harder to see the character development and possibly also seeing it as compacted. I only disagree with that is because if you haven't seen Rob Thomas's fantastic work before it would be hard to get the message or development. I think that as a movie (not including the fact it had a tv series before) it was still a great and definitely worthy of buying movie :)

It's amazing that this movie was made through donations from the fans. It really shows the love the fans have for these characters!. The show ended with so many questions. This movie helped answer some of those. Although it was a little odd or forced at times, it was great to see most of the characters from the high school years. Parts of the story line were a little less believable, but for any fan of this show, it was great to see the characters again and get some closure. It shows a typical world in some ways - some people move beyond high school life, while others seem to stay there in an emotional and mental way. Veronica points that out with a one line comment fairly nicely, in true Veronica form. Spoiler alert - Since the show started with Veronica looking for her best friend's killer, it would have been nice to see Lily on the slideshow at the reunion. If they mentioned Felix, they should have mentioned Lily. Technically, both were murdered while they were still in high school. It was great to see Weevil and Leo! It would have been interesting to find out something about Duncan and his life now. Also, with Veronica and Logan constantly breaking up and getting back together, it was nice to see the epic relationship with bloodshed and lives lost quote from the alterna-prom from so long ago. It perfectly sums up their relationship and it's lasting power. It would have been nice to see a flash forward of a wedding, but lets face it, they are in Califonria, which is full of rich people constantly getting divorced. This ending leaves people wondering if there will be another break up, but also understanding that they will always go back to each other, no matter what.

I was sucked in by all the reviews! I lasted 10 minutes and switched it off. If you are a teenage girl you might like it, but everyone else, i suggest giving this movie a miss.
