Description

Patrick Swayze stars in this sexy thriller from the producer of Die Hard and the Matrix. Co-starring Ben Gazzara (The Thomas Crown Affair), Kelly Lynch (Charlie's Angels) and Sam Elliott (We Were Soldiers), Road House delivers no-holds-barred action that pushes the envelope for high-octane thrills! Swayze is Dalton, a legendary bouncer who comes to Jasper, Missouri, for a special purpose: to restore order at the notorious Double Deuce Bar. In one spectacular fight after another, Dalton rids the bar of thugs and henchmen. But when he runs afoul of a ruthless crime boss (Gazzara) who controls the town, the stage is set for a blistering showdown that'll leave only one man standing!

I want you to be nice. Until it’s time to not be nice anymore.

His “Be Nice” speech alone is worth the cost of the movie.

What a classic. The plot is so absurd (people follow bouncers like sports stars), but the actors are so likable and the story's simplicity is charming, in a weird bar-brawling sort of way. Great for a fun movie night. Anyone who gives this a bad rating is trying to take the movie too seriously.

The millennial idiots that call themselves “film critics” on Rotten Tomatoes are a joke. General rule of thumb: if the love something, but the fans only give it 4 Stars... it’s awful. ALWAYS go with the fan rating. Period. Rotten Tomatoes is awful. This is a classic film. So bad, it’s awesome. “Polar Bear fell on me”....

Great movie with great soundtrack, watched it when I was a kid growing up and just watched it again this past weekend. 22 years as a “cooler” and this is as close to the real thing as it gets. Good storyline about someone with a heart for solving problems and stopping bullies in their tracks
