No joke but I’ve been obsessed well I should say insane over this movie since July 30th 2022 but even though I’ve only been in love with this movie for a year I’ve actually learned a lot about the historical engineering of the titanic and have been very interested ever since. I mean really I’ve had a crush on Kate since that day but otherwise this is an amazing movie if you’re really interested in history and ships especially with tragic romances.

One star, I can’t support movies with every language in the world but no Spanish at all.

I hated “Titanic” ever since the 1st time I watched it because of how long & dramatic it was & still is even to this day. However, I praise Leonardo DiCaprio & Kate Winslet for their performances as Jack Dawson & Rose Dewitt Bukater, even to this day since it brought them some success as actors. What also makes me hate “Titanic” is when you end up learning as an adult that there are some historically inaccurate details in this movie, particularly the fact that Jack & Rose don’t actually exist. This isn’t surprising considering that some movies like Disney’s 1995 version of “Pocahontas” & its sequel “Pocahontas II: Journey To A New World” get so many details wrong that only her name is kind of correct. In short, I hate “Titanic”.

  • One of the greatest big screen entertainments ever made!

James Cameron’s Titanic is, quite simply, one of the greatest big screen entertainments ever made. The film holds up now over two decades later and will continue to hold up. And not just for its spectacle, though for sure the spectacle is awesome, but for the story and characters that though they may be simple, very basic even, are well constructed and implemented ingeniously. Leo and Kate still have great chemistry when you watch them together. Gloria Stuart melts your heart with the weight and pathos she brings. Kathy Bates is a firecracker standout. Titanic is a film where everything just comes together and works beautifully even when it seems like it shouldn’t and it is wonderful because it does.
