His girlfriend, TESS TRUEHEART, wants to settle down to a quiet life. “Sooner or Later” won the Oscar. “More” is a favorite. “Live Alone and Like It”, a gem (sung by Torme no less) is almost buried in the film but appears in Sondheim reviews. Oh, and the movie is fun too.

This is a wonderful movie. The colors, the music, the acting... This is the comic strip brought to life. The acting isn't campy, it's the Dick Tracy comic strip. My kids and I love and watch this movie regularly. There is no way not to purchase this.

This movie is visually stunning, the vivid colors and art direction make it look like the pages of a comic book have come to life. Danny Elfman provides a music score that goes perfectly with the film. Great costumes and makeup add to this comic masterpiece. Last but not least, a top notch cast who make this movie worth watching!

It was priceless watching Al Pacino at the fool playing Big Boy Caprice as well as Dustin Hoffman as Mumbles and Paul Sorvino as Lipps Manus. The supporting cast was great. The art direction, set design and wardrobe gave the film a "comic strip" feel. It's eye catching.
