An 80’s masterpiece. The music is iconic. Based on Terry Davis’ book with the same name. Louden, a HS senior, challenges himself to beat the unbeaten wrestling monster, Shute. It’s a classic coming of age story with wrestling and a girl as the catalyst.

Every young man can relate to this movie . The Journey soundtrack of this movie just tops it off like the Cherry on top of a great Sundae

This movie is nearly flawless. A great story and superb acting. Also it is rare sports movie where the main character does not have some troubled past or abusive family to overcome. It is just about shooting for the stars and and achieving beyond expectations. If you like this, I also recommend All the Right Moves with Tom Cruise, which is another great 80’s sports movie that is underrated.

This 'coming of age' movie truly does have it all. Drama, Action, Love, Excellent acting, Killer Soundtrack…but the biggest reason to buy this movie is to help any aspiring athlete entering High School to learn about true dedication and learning how to attack your goals with a vengeance!!! More realistic than Rocky ever was! Everyone should go on a Vision Quest!
