The shots of the races are thrilling. The story is thought-and-emotion provoking. The only shortcoming would be too lengthy. Great movie to enjoy if you have that time.

You dont have to be a fan of Formula 1 to appreciate the magic of this film. The action was way ahead of its time. Luckily for Formula 1 fans, old and new, this film is worth watching again and again. Especially the scenes at Monaco, Zandvoort and Monza. This captures F1 during a time where a pilot could race one weekend and perish the next. This film serves as testament of those who put their lives on the line in the name of speed and our entertainment.

This John Frankenheimer masterpiece stands with very few films, quite possibly the BEST racing films of the twentieth century. I would purchase this film in moment. Will rent in HD update in hope this remaster has just added to this spectacular film.

This was such a good movie, it was so cool to see the old Ferrari factory. I would say this is the kind of movie that you buy because you can watch it over and over again.

The movie was produced in the sixties, yet this movie was so well executed from begining to end that you will enjoy it as if it were a modern day film. The camera views are superb, the sound is fine, and the movie as well as the cars is fast paced.

Hands down this is one of the best films for the true motorsport lover. John Franenheimer refused to film his cars slow and speed up the film for the movie. He Filmed all the races at real f1 car speeds. A turely fantastic movie to any Formula 1 fan.

This is an outstanding movie for racing enthusiasts. Its a little dated, obviously, and there's a little too much melodrama with a couple of worthless sub-plots. However, the racing footage is really great!
