    hilarious! if you're a music fan and have a sense of humor, you'll love this movie. it spans all eras of rock, starting with elvis. this is probably the least known apatow movie but it's the funniest, imo. john c. reilly does an amazing job. there's also a running drug joke thruout the movie that's really funny. i'm a huge music fan and thought this movie was hysterical!

    I remember the first time I watched this movie I didn't think I was going to like it at all. This movie took me completely by surprise. If you like "silly" movies in the vein of "Airplane" or mockumentaries in the vein of "Best in Show", this movie is a must!

    I was hooked the first time I saw it! I love the way it sums up all of the musical eras and drug popularity. I read that prior to the movie being released that John C. Reilly performed as Dewey Cox in a handful of concerts. I would have loved to have been there! The soundtrack is almost as good as the movie.
