A joy to watch. Unfortunately, the director used mostly Chinese actresses to play Japanese female parts (there is a BIG difference) still a great movie & very glad I bought it.

WHY oh WHY isnโ€™t the original Japanese language version ever available anywhere? Itโ€™s soooo much better. I feel like itโ€™s missing out on the true emotion and vibe of the film when itโ€™s the dubbed English language version. OFFER IT IN JAPANESE

I had read the book a year ago, and now, I just saw the movie and I must say that they are both amazing. Memoirs of a Geisha is thrilling and capturing, but at the same time, it is beautiful and delicate. I definitely recommend the movie and the book to anyone!
