Description

From James Wan, the producer of Annabelle, and Blumhouse, the producer of The Black Phone, comes a fresh new face in terror. M3GAN is a marvel of artificial intelligence, a lifelike doll that's programmed to be a child's greatest companion and a parent's greatest ally. Designed by Gemma (Allison Williams, Get Out), a brilliant roboticist, M3GAN can listen, watch, and learn as it plays the role of friend, teacher, playmate, and protector. When Gemma becomes the unexpected caretaker of her 8-year-old niece, she decides to pair the girl with a M3GAN prototype, a decision that leads to unimaginable consequences.

  • Surprisingly a fun movie

Normally, I’m not big on watching horror movies because of the blood and anything scary, but M3GAN is actually fun and humorous. I may have to look away if there’s any blood, but it’s worth it.

This is a rewritten review. I thought M3GAN was a fun and enjoyable movie. As a horror movie fan I admittedly would’ve preferred the original R rating, but because of the hype on TikTok, they censored to a slightly violent PG-13 rating. With that aside, this movie was great. It was surprisingly slow going at the start, but once M3GAN finally entered the movie that sort of changed. I thought the acting was great, especially the actors of M3GAN (who’s names I unfortunately forget). The build up to the dance scene was fine, the music was great. But as the title says, I expected more. Most (including me) could probably see the ending coming from a mile away. It’s sort of a cliche ending, (since a movie that most compare to M3GAN, the Child’s Play reboot, had a similar ending, though they didn’t make it as obvious in Child’s Play). They didn’t really touch on the small sub-plot with an employee stealing the code for M3GAN (though rumors for M3GAN 2 say otherwise). And the dance scene (though it was great) was kind of overhyped. So, even with a few problems, M3GAN is a great movie and I’m excited to see what the filmmakers will do with M3GAN 2.0.

It was simply camp, reminded me of what Chucky was back in the day. Modern horror movies take themselves too serious, this was refreshing and an instant classic!

Ok, so ◡̈⋆ʜᴇʟʟᴏ(●’◡’●)ノ parents! This movie was very good! And there is really no horror! Just a not creepy robot killing people. There is a lot of Gore in those scenes. And they curse. I would recommend ages 11 or 17 idk.But it's free on Peacock and Prime Video! (You have to own it) slang: idk=I don't know (*ˊᗜˋ*)ᵗᑋᵃᐢᵏ ᵞᵒᵘ

M3gan is a good entertaining movie. It has a feel of some of Netflix’s Black Mirror films. Chucky relied on dark magic to come to life M3gan relied on robotics and AI. It’s great if you love Sci-fi. I watched this twice and looking forward to a sequel.

I finally got around to seeing this move and rented it. I loved the relationship between the little girl and the AI doll. The soundtrack was good. Well filmed. But it fell short of being an amazing movie for 2 reasons: 1. Unveiling the Horror Too Soon. We see Megan killing a dog, instead of patching the hole in the fence, which could of showed off Megan's "intelligence" over it's lack of consciousness. 2. The casting, script and acting was quiet bad. The adults were dumb, boring to look at, basically superficial engineers, and angry stressed out corporate stereotypes. They needed more sophistication like Big Band Theory style and more coldness to their characters. More intelligence in testing Megan as a doll. The owner of the dog, was just an idiot. So I could only give it honestly 3 stars.
