My daughter was watching herself but the story drew me in as I caught pieces of it while doing chores around the house. Half way through the film I was committed to watching it with her and finishing the story of Kevin Hart’s character and the amazingly talented actresses portraying his daughter at different ages. It is well worth a couple hours of your time to share this movie with a loved one.

Great performance by Hart. He’s known for making you laugh, but he can also tug at your heart. Have a box of tissues ready before you watch.

Never let it be said that parenting alone is easy and that the world will step in. I watched this and was always on the edge of my seat by the way this subject was handled. Excellent acting and the ability to emote was palpable. Single parents have alot thrown at them and even more so for fathers. What a truly generous and warm way to portray the pitfalls of parenting in this age. Parenting alone, single father, and a culture of non-support for those who’ve lost their spouses/partners and must move forward alone as a single parent. I give this movie five stars for the wonderful way this subject was handled. Thank you
