My wife and I always felt that Galaxy Quest was a great film, David Mamet's four perfect movies confirmed our belief. This documentary tells the whole story of the movie making process, its ins and outs, ups, downs, triumps and tregedies. I'll bet you didn't know who was set to direct Galaxy Quest before Dean Parisot got the nod. The number of actors who were thought of to play Jason Nesmith will stagger you. If you are a Galaxy Quest fan, this is a MUST SEE, you will NOT be dissapointed.

This really is a great documentary! Because you guys managed to pull so many members of the original production team, you were able to tell a complete story of the filmmaking journey without having to rely on a narrator, which many documentaries have to do. Well done, Screen Junkies!

I love galaxy quest and I love that this documentary showcases the journey of this movie beautifully. Galaxy quest was wayyyy a head of its time and in someways still is, it’s a movie that’s hilarious, heartfelt and poignant and everyone involved in this documentary knows it. They managed to tell the story of how lightening was captured in a bottle and I would highly recommend it for anyone who is a fan of movie making in general but definitely if you are a fan of Galaxy quest.

If you love Galaxy Quest, and "who doesn't", you'll certainly enjoy this wonderful documentary on its production and cultural effect. Interviews from the stars of the movie, of fans and of Star Trek actors give insight into what makes this one of only "four perfect movies" ever made...no, not kidding...I'm serious about that! Watch the documentary and never surrender!

Never give, never surrender! The love these documentarians have for Galaxy Quest is palpable in this telling of the making and reception of the film. Great interviews from people inside the production and out along with great stories from the actors and crew. The tribute to Alan Rickman and what could have been with the tv show is especially touching. Immediately after viewing, I hopped onto amazon and ordered the Galaxy Quest Blu-ray. Since I’ve had it, I’ve watched the film no less than 5 times this month! Because of Never Surrender, I can truly appreciate one of the best comedies ever made more fully.
