This film is a look at what was going on behind the curtains at such a pivotal time in Trixie’s career. It is truly moving. I laughed. I cried. I admire Trixie even more after seeing and hearing some of the struggles that she has overcome.

I wish this was better. Every scene felt 20% percent to me and fell flat. They could have gone further and more in depth with Brian's interviews. Yes, it's a doc but a little more story producing would have made it better. Example the Katya stuff didn't go anywhere. You had her breakdown, her text and then she's there at the end. No Trixie and Katya scene where they discuss what happened. To me it seemed like they had some footage of Trixie and attemped to make a doc about her life. Too bad it had potential!

I love Trixie and this documentary made me love Brian even more. A touching and intimate look behind the character and into an incredible year for drag. It made me cry and then buy her blush palette to make me happy again.
