Description

Diggsy (Kris Wente) has always been in love with Suzette (Sara Antonio). After she marries another man, a mysterious stranger (Eddie George) offers him a gift: a key that supposedly opens doors into parallel universes where other versions of Suzette may not only exist but where one of them could possibly even love him back. There's a catch: once he uses the key, he can't go back; he will forever leave everything he has ever known, including his sister Daphne (Brittany Belland). After some coaxing, Diggsy crosses through the first door as adventure grabs hold of him and refuses to let go. He meets Suzette after Suzette, most of them vastly different than the one he’s loved his entire life. Every door he passes through presents a new set of struggles, decisions, and challenges. And to complicate things, he meets a woman very different than Suzette named Gwyneth (CJ "Lana" Perry). Diggsy’s journey is filled with comedy, heartbreak, adventure, and a heavy dose of fish out of water.

OK, all these 5 star reviews must have been related to the actors. This movie was like a bored hipsters fantasy come true. Really bizaare and basically awful.

Fun movie ... scary thought if there were parallel universes you could access but not get back from. Moral of the story, find out who you are and be happy with it and figure out who they are and decide if that’s really who you want. Also if you get a key make a chain and put it around you neck and don’t let anyone know it’s power or tragedy may strike.

Even though this was low budget. It did not feel low budget. It was breathe taking with the views of backdrops to the story. U really end up feeling like he traveled the world and other time lines looking for the love he never had, only to discover it was something u expected that was his true path. I love the women that was meant for him. I even got mad when she was pushed out the door, like very unexpected. This movie has a great meaningful story and good casting. Took me a minute to get into watching it, but I promise if u stick with it it will not disappoint.

It’s hard to find movies that my wife likes, but this fit the bill with its quiet journey into the existential questions raised by alternate timelines. Beautifully shot on the cheap, although I don’t understand 4K without HDR, it’s all about exploring the permutations of a man who won’t accept what this universe has done to his love life. Will he grow to choose the multi-universally low maintenance, thicc and lovely Gwyneth or the object of his obsession Suzette? A good indie.

I caught this movie at the Nashville Film festival and it was the best film I saw in the fest. An original premis mixed with a really fresh sense of humor that is a pleasant refrain from the typical cynical fair that is being barfed all over us these days. I cannot reccomend this film enough.
