Decided to rewatch this X-men movie and realized it was much better than I remembered it to be. Very well done with a remarkable final action scene. The “prison train attack” is fantastic! Also reminded me of who should be the new James Bond- Michael Fassbender!

Sometimes I wonder why people slam movies like this but give movies like SHAZAM! a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Seriously? Is it because this isn’t a part of the MCU? Is it because Wolverine isn’t in it? I’m confused. I’ve been a hardcore comic collector since the age of 3 and I can’t sit here and find a valid reason why or how this would get a 22% rating. The movie is good, the story flows good, it’s not a perfect adaptation of the storyline from the comics but it’s still good; looks good, the CG is really good, the acting is good, the action is good; I don’t get it. WOOSAH…

An excellent movie and conclusion. The writing was great and Sophie Turner's performance was A+!
  • Entertaining action, not much story

Exciting action sequences make this last installment of the younger X-men films watchable, but the story, what there was of it, is forgettable (unnamed aliens invade earth seeking and energy source absorbed by Jean Grey to conquer the earth). If you like superhero flicks heavy on action, if light on substance, enjoy it!

Unnecessary, the storyline was convoluted, and expected. I can understand creating a slightly different universe for MCU, but this was something else. They totally undid the work from the previous X-men movies, which in “Days of Future Past” they try to reconcile and it sorta worked, until it got trashed in this one. I did relate a lot with Jean Gray (not the terrible actress who played it), I too wanted it to stop! ... the movie that is! SMH Btw my review wasn’t 1 star, it got rounded up!

Nothing to see here people, it’s just a group of lazy writers trying to make money! Hello, it’s Deadpool and here’s my review. Last I recall, we ended the main franchise with the Rogue-Cut. Why did FOX decide to make two more? Here’s the timeline people; First Class (optional) , X-1, X-2, X-3, The Wolverine, Days of Future Past (The Rogue-Cut), and Once Upon a Deadpool (that’s the PG-13 version) is optional too. My friend, LadyPool suggests watching Logan (I haven’t seen that one yet; but I’ve heard great things).

  • Worst X-Men Movie

I saw this in theaters and hated it. Aside from getting the Phoenix Saga wrong AGAIN, which baffles me, seeing how Days of Future Past was trying to FIX that, this film has bad dialogue, all the characters making stupid decisions, horrible effects, and a mind-boggling plot. As a stand alone story, it makes no sense. As a Phoenix Saga movie, it makes even LESS sense. This is the worst X-Men movie in the series, and one of the worst Marvel movies ever. It’s no Fant4stic, but it’s close.
