It seems Adam McKay directing and writing would have truly made this funnier. Not funny like Step Brothers or Talladega Knights. The middle parts just seemed to be made as if saying lewd jokes makes everything funny. It got good towards the end but truly disappointing.

Let’s start off by saying this movie is not bad at all. The people from a country from you know where are simply mad because they hate when Americans do their accent. They love to do our accents but they don’t like it when we do it. The movie was honestly funny, and overall pretty good. Not this duo’s best movie but it’s still worth a watch! I definitely recommend renting it or buying it!

Such great comedians, this is the worst movie they have ever done. Big budget movie, but the end result is a very boring and not funny comedy.

These other reviews are ridiculous. This is a comedy and a paradoy of the stayed and stuffy period-piece movies. The real stars of this movie - Reily and Hall. Their chemestry is brilliant. It is bafoonery at its best...and I mean that positively. If you are expecting the Downey Jr. Holmes, DO NOT purchase. If you are interested in laughing your backside off, rent or BUY. this movie.John C Reily....has been carrying Farrell (joking of course) for the longest time. This stops NOW! These boys shake and bake once more. And Billy Z. YES!!! Comic gold.
