Now, Pete and Ellie must hilariously try to learn the ropes of instant parenthood in the hopes of becoming a family. I like this movie a lot i felt like i could connect with it in a way because when i was smaller i was also put in a foster home for a bit but then i got to go back home anyway thats a different story for another day but if youre thinking of watching or renting it youll really enjoy it!!! Rate this movie 10/5 🙌 had to buy it right after watching it 😆

While It didn’t portray the gritty side of the foster care system, it did show the importance of family in our lives. We have been spoon fed lies about a village, single-parents, etc. The truth is that we all benefit the most from having a full family to support us and help us grow as humans. This is the silly, light-hearted approach. I also recommend Home For The Holidays for a more adult version of families around the holidays. Every so often I enjoy these sentimental family movies that reflect an earlier time period’s morals. We seem to be missing that in today’s world. But, it’s nice to remember that we all have it inside ourselves even if it doesn’t show all the time.

So much better than I thought it would be. The cast was magnificent, complimenting each other in every way. The kids were real and obnoxiously fantastic. I just can’t get over how great this movie was.

I know a lot of people are bashing this movie because of the foul language, or that it’s different from the real foster care system, but if you just focus on the characters and their relationships I think you’ll love it.
