    As someone who grew up with the Cars movies, I was utterly disappointed to watch this. I was expecting a movie where Mcqueen was shook out of his comfort zone having to learn from his mentor’s teacher. What I got was a letdown and an underdeveloped passing of the torch movie. Why did Pixar feel the need to pull such a cliché move?

    First of all, Radiator Springs was old and forgotten from 60 years!! At the end of the first movie, customers came to visit, all thanks to McQueen! The second movie (which shouldn’t have been released) had customers! But this one?? Where did they go? Is it like how the humans from Hotel Transylvania 2 left in the 3rd movie, cuz the monsters were weirdos, and disgusting?? What happened here??

    This whole movie was building up to Lightning’s grand return. Then he just gives up and let’s the girl who’s never raced (and is not built to be a race car so couldn’t compete with those other cars to begin with) before race out there. In fact the whole second half of the movie felt like it was more about her than Lightning. I understand the whole “Passing on the torch” theme, but it could have been done so much better

  • What a lesson for kids

    Great lesson for kids, cheat. Lightning can’t cut it so he just transfers his number to someone else to finish his race, so pure cheating. Not sure why they think teaching children to give up and cheat is a good lesson, but I imagine it’s because in this new era of pandering that we need to have a female in there somewhere and what better way than to finish a race someone else started. It’s ridiculous.
