Description

A psychopathic mastermind (Gerard Butler of GAMER, 300), captured for the murder of his wife's killers, threatens to unleash a gruesome killing spree across the city of Philadelphia unless he is released. The prosecuting attorney (Jamie Foxx of THE SOLOIST, THE KINGDOM) is usually a deal maker but this time stands his ground and refuses. As if on cue, innocent people start dying in horrifying ways - just as the prisoner warned. The city falls into chaos, with everyone calling for the attorney's head. Desperate, he comes to the realization that his decisions might be what created this horrifying vigilante, and he is the only one that can stop him.

Law Abiding Citizen was one of those underrated Thrillers that wasn’t Oscar worthy but still worth watching Gerard Butler was engaging as Grieving Father turned Vigilante Killer 💀! And Jamie Foxx as The prosecutor on his radar! And White Knuckle chaos ensues! Obey the law with this thriller!

I hope to humbly understand how someone could give this movie a one star or a 26 % tomatometer rating. This is a 5 star movie thriller. The action is scenes are perfect. It ends with a perfect Greek Catharsis.
  • Pretty good movie until the end

Starts out promising, but ends in a typical disappointing fashion for a low budget indie film. The wrong person dies and the wrong message is sent.

Have you ever watched a movie when the carachter you are rooting for looses in the end? This is a movie like that. Great acting, terrible story.

Here is another movie on my top 10 favorite suspense movies. 26% Rotten Tomatoes? Are. You. INSANE? Engaging movie that will leave you wondering what will happen next. You'll be rooting for the bad guy. Butler is just amazing. Eh, Fox did ok too.

I was very impressed. Well done thriller. A little twisted but at the same time some of “it does” need to be fixed. R for gruesome violence implied and content of that implied violence. Hard to swallow but kept you wondering up to the end.

Maybe would of been good as a mini series, needs to be longer. As it is you are left aggervated with all the 'that would never happen' holes. It would be easier believing in flying deer.
  • Amazing movie with an awful ending

Despite the awful, Hollywood, ending... this is an amazing movie, it both hits on the depths of despair and vengeance and the joke that is jurisprudence in America.
