Description

The 2016 Reebok CrossFit Games were a grueling five-day, 15-event test to find the fittest man and woman on Earth. "Fittest on Earth: A Decade of Fitness" follows the dramatic story of the top athletes who qualified and competed and offers an inside look at what it takes to be among the world's elite athletes, both in training and on the competition floor. The CrossFit Games challenge competitors to perform intense physical tasks, but the hardest part is sometimes mental. Athletes often learn the details of the events only minutes before they begin, and everyone handles the pressure differently. Which of these fierce competitors will rise to the top and earn the title of Fittest on Earth?

I really enjoy these Cross-Fit documentaries. I liked this one but liked the 2015 one even more. It also focused on establishing athlete personalities but showed more sport. I found myself wanting more of that in this one. Still, I'm sure I'll watch it about a dozen times in awe and wonder.

The Games and Castro are making tons of money, yet they pay athletes hardly anything, often charging them to participate in the games. And this video similarly is nothing byt a ~2 hour ad for Reebok and the games. :-/

Not a Crossfit Athlete, but the job done on this movie makes me want to transition to one! Great overall job, and better then the first!

Very well done. Would be great to get the Masters athletes in future editions!
  • Misleading title - should've been called "Road to 2016 Podium"

I hated the fact that this was titled "A Decade of Fitness" yet they didn't even cover the last 10 years worth of athletes! What about Rebecca Voight, who's been to the games a record of times? Not even an interview with her or many other athletes who are well known in the sport and who've made significant impacts and achievements in the name of Crossfit. It's a shame they only focused on just the top athletes of ONLY 2016. The quality is good, just not what I was expecting and not worth all the hype. It's something I would've expected from their main page or YouTube channel.
  • The crossfit games are entertaining but...

The fittest people on earth is only true if you're ignoring all Professional, College, and Olympic athletes. There's a reason why Arian Foster, Rodger Federer, and Rhonda Rousey don't train for the crossfit games. It's because despite dedicating their lives to training, the crossfit games only pays a few winning athletes. Even the ones who do win get paid very little compared to what the crossfit games makes.
  • Not That Good...BORING

2016 games focused ONLY on the top 3 contenders for men and women. THAT'S IT! Past winners weren't interviewed. There was probably a total of 30 SECONDS given to other competitors. Made for a rather boring show. Last years (2015 games) show was much more interesting.

I'll say that I like the movie but believe it could/should be done better. If you were not into Crossfit and watched this documentary you'd think that there were only ten athletes competing at the games. I find the love for the top athletes nauseating. I get it they're great but so are the others that made the games and they are pretty much snubbed in games coverage and again in this film. I'm getting pretty tired of watching the same 5 athletes all the time even though I appreciate how good they are I believe the other athletes don't get near the recognition they deserve.
  • Thrilling! Exciting!

We have no idea about what these athletes go through for many years to get prepared for a competition like that. They have to be focused and just can't give up. They fight againt themselves each event! I felt the emotion inside my heart... Congratulations, CrossFit! Let's wait for more and more decades of fitness!!!

Fittest athlete on earth is a stretch. ID like to see them go head to head w/ pro athletes or Olympians. Kind sad they are just obsessed with fitness and as a group decided the fittest person on the planet must do Cross Fit.
