Worthless viewing, didn’t know anything about this and after twenty minutes I turned it off. It’s seems like an employees kid made this.

Cool inside footage of cern but no meaningful information in this documentary. This whole production could of been 15 minutes long.
  • made by amateurs on a tight budget

this topic would have made for a great documentary but this isn’t it. I give it 2 stars because it was interesting to see the machine and people but they should have had a narrator with clear objectives to guide and explain things to a general audience. the public wants to hear the machine running, see pictures, animations, and see the top people being interviewed. Also don’t forget to put in LEDs and some UV exposure down there to keep workers productive and mentally healthy.

A study in how to take one of the most fascinating, important, and inspiring initiatives in mankind's history and turn it into a presentation that made me pray for my own death. This was the most boring thing I've ever tried to watch. It's billed as "beautiful images", but it's just ... well, images. Where there would normally be voice-over describing the significance of the images, there are just ... images. "Hey, what's this big thing we're looking at? What does it do? Why is that important? How long did it take to build? How many people were involved?" None of these questions seemed to have occurred to the "director". Nope. Here's yet another image of ... something. Fascinating. Please kill me. And for the love of the god particle, what is with the plastic curtain behind all of the interviewees? We can see that there are people walking around behind it. There are chairs and workstations where people clearly do their jobs back there. The plastic isn't to keep dust out of the machinery. This movie should be removed from Apple's (and everyone else's) catalog. It's potentially the worst thing I've ever seen.
  • Way to make it boring

Wow.. one of the most interesting subjects in current science and they manage to reduce it to shots of people in elevators and showing us pipes being move around with no inspiration. The way interviews are conducted is also made to maximize the boring effect. They have a guy speaking about new materials and superconductors and they don't even show us the stuff. Really poor movie making.

How this made it on iTunes is a deeper mystery than those being investigated at CERN. I’ll never get those 25 minutes back that I forced myself to watch. Couldn’t even get through half of it.

Not a professional film. Seems like it’s made by a student or something.
  • Unusually bad and boring

Mostly interviews with scientists working on the Large Hadron Collider and few shots of impressive looking machines doing nothing. The scientists attempt to explain complex concepts with no visual aids at all, not even a white board. Not sure how one of the largest scientific experiments of our time to improve our fundamental understanding of the universe can be made so uninteresting. It’s as if the creators just did not care.

This was terrible and I had a hard time not falling asleep while watching people who can barely speak English try to explain what it is they do at CERN. Ugh. So bad. DO NOT WATCH THIS!
