Description

The very day he’s about to drive his family to a new life in the city, geologist Kristian Elkjord senses something wrong with the mountain that overlooks his scenic town. No one wants to believe that this could be the big one, especially with tourist season at its peak, but when a landslide from the mountain sends tons of rock and earth crashing into the water, everyone has ten minutes to outrace the resulting tsunami to higher ground in this thrilling action spectacular.

    For a foreign disaster movie, this is beautifully made! Lots of anxiety, edge of your seat feels and the score really did well to enhance that! It's very similar to how Dante's Peak was written but it's very noteworthy in its own right. Fantastic movie!!

    Normally I can’t watch movies with subtitles. Probably because I’m usually multitasking. But I had heard such good things about this movie. It was totally worth it. Watch this movie! Great tension and the special effects are amazing. I’d watch this one again.

    If I could give this movie 1M stars I would!but it was sad to that’s why I LOVE this movie!idk if it cost 1,000 dollars somewhere I would buy it(but I’m broke sooo...)

    It is wonderful and refreshing to see a foreign film this good, this enticing, and this suspenseful. Hollywood quality special effects. Great execution.

    Ok so the movie is probably really good as all the reviews reflect, BUT its foriegn and instead of just alloying to let the movie and characters speak the native tounge with subtitles it has voice overs in English as well as subtitles..I rented it and cant even watch it.....Sorry just couldnt get past it...The voice overs were soo cheesy.

    Good movie. Story was simple but fun. Good acting. Recommendation, watch it in Norwegian, with US subtitles. It Rated R, but pretty mild.

    I usually hate subtitle movies but this one uses English overdubs which are a little cheesy sometimes but allow non-Norwegins to enjoy the movie. The story is good, the acting is good, and the limited CGI is good. Not over the top like in 2012 or San Andreas, but more believable. I bought it and am glad I did. Not quite a good as Troll Hunter, but close.

    English voice over was horrible. Actually more than horrible. Its ruined the whole movie. Movie itself without the stupid voice is good tho. Watch it only if you can find it in its original language!
