I loved this movie. The intricacies of the plot and the use of each character to represent new ideas while still causing me to just sit back and have fun. My younger sister may not have liked it but to be fair she also got lost on the plot to Zoolander so she may not be the best benchmark for the average viewer.
  • Boring, tedius, could have been FAR better

A couple of gags, endless and stupifyingly boring philosophic babble, and nothing really to say whatsoever. It was an okay idea, but the execution was terrible.

Wonderfully witty movie. I often question if those who dislike it simply do not understand it. You really need to know Hamlet well, and be a fan of Shakespeare to grasp the intricacies of the story. In this movie you are following characters who are on the fringes of Hamlet. And at one point you are watching a play, within a play, within a play (or movie, in the version adapted from the stage). The acting is marvelous as well!

One of my favorites! So glad it's on iTunes now. It's quiet humor, but really enjoyable.
