Flu

You’d think the guy and the Mom would’ve learned their lesson in leaving The girl by herself,WRONG! They leave her alone at least three times and each time, something predictable and bad happens to her.

Could have been a good romantic comedy, too. Seriously. There are two plots here. One, everyone dies if the doctors can't find and make antibodies for the strain of killer Avian flu. The nice plot is a romance with a little girl in the middle who steals the movie in the first half. Jang Hyuk demonstrates his talents as an actor with great range and athleticism. His charm is magic. Underneath the silly epidemic plot is the serious meddling of US government and military sticking their hegemonic interests atop the calamity of the pandemic. It's a horror film amidst a warm tale of romance and motherly love for a precocious little girl. Good entertainment, if too graphic with the flu and evil characters.
