Some Kind Of Hate is filled with cringe worthy moments but goes deeper than your average slasher movie. The film takes a particularly nasty look at the suffering bullying can cause, not only to the person being tormented, but to the bullies themselves. From the beginning the film establishes a feeling of dread that builds to its ultimate conclusion with the final shot, leaving the viewer raw to all the emotions that have been building over the film. Sierra McCormick gives an absolutely amazing performance as Moira, and her method of killing (hurting herself to hurt others) was brilliant. Some Kind Of Hate is a powerful film, the best slasher movie with a strong message behind it since Wes Craven’s A Nightmare on Elm Street. Some Kind Of Hate is an uncensored look inside the true horrors of bullying...and revenge.
